How can I effect secure (SSL) processing for my domains?
Post to support
and ask that the Apache+SSL be installed on you server. After support
has notified you that the installation has been accomplished, on
your server, execute Option 31 of account to generate a CSR for
submission to Thawte
or Verisign
for signing.
Upon return of your signed CSR from Thawte or Verisign, use Option
32 of account to install the CSR, then post to support and ask that
Apache+SSL be activated on your server.
My CSR was signed for my domain, www.dogs.com, and secure processing
at my domain is working great. However, when I access https://dogs.com,
I encounter a warning message. Why?
A CSR is valid only for the EXACT domain for which it was signed.
If you want both https://www.dogs.com and https://dogs.com to function
without error, you would need to obtain two CSR's: one CSR for www.dogs.com
and one CSR for dogs.com.
